his month marks the anniversary of the day my home was attacked in military fashion by my local police, who after breaking down my door and running through my home with automatic rifles while screaming, then handcuffed me and took me away to jail while my young granddaughter and daughter watched. Luckily we didn’t have pet dog or it would have most assuredly been shot. Most know my story but in summary  this dramatic assault occurred for one reason only: I had ordered less than a months worth of  some meds online so that I could live, which in theory could be gotten from any doctor.  I assure you… there is nothing more to the story as far as why they did what they did and what my “crime” was. It’s a matter of public record.

I’m the woman in the photo with my 6 year old grandaughter (who was home when they raided my house) and wow…. I never dreamed this photo would get as much notice as it has. Thank so much to everyone who re-blogged and for the wonderful comments. Except for a couple of them out of over 1000 so far, everyone “gets it” and offered support. I will answer ANY question about my situation. My life has always been an open book. I was already a bit of a social activist before this occurred and this has given me a definite focus. I created a web site on the topics in society that allow this kind of thing to happen and also wrote a book which details what I went through in the system from arrest to conviction.  My husband is an entertainer and he wrote a song that is free to listen too and speaks to the situation beautifully. You can listen to that and also read much more of my story on my site if there is interest. The key is to make your voice heard as so many are right now. And its so wonderful to see.

My “crime”? After years of suffering an incredibly painful illness and being  REFUSED BY ALL DOCTORS because I had no insurance, I became BEDRIDDEN AND SUICIDAL. I ORDERED PRESCRIPTION PAIN MEDS ONLINE and got my life back for the first time in almost a decade. Until last NOVEMBER 2010 when a 20 MAN SWAT TEAM with automatic rifles broke my door down and TOOK ME TO JAIL in handcuffs. All for LESS THAN A MONTH’S WORTH OF PILLS, which had a doctor given me would have been a non-issue. I am now a FELON FOR LIFE. I had no previous record.

I WAS NOT POOR. I just could not afford the ASTRONOMICAL $ REQUIRED BY ALL DOCTORS I contacted to start their testing.

GOD I’m watching a documentary on marijuana and I’m enraged

A little old lady dying of cancer was arrested for one ounce. She said she used it to feel better because she was in so much pain

And many researchers and scientists have said that they get denied the right to research marijuana if it sounds like they’re trying to prove positive qualities of it

They still however do them elsewhere in the world and its proven its monumentally healing. Over and over again. The herb was used for centuries as a healing aid. A gov’t that halts scientific study on an herb has other motives.

Health costs keep going up and so does insurance, despite the US already has the most expensive health care in the world. (though ironically not the best)
